I love entertaining at weddings. That’s why we do so many of them. The only thing better than DJ’ing a wedding, is DJ’ing a wedding for a family that I have known for so long, and have DJ’ed their parties for years, that I can remember when the bride was a little girl. Such was the case on October 14th, of 2017. I had the luxury of being the DJ at Annie Hardin’s wedding. The parents, Jack and Julie Hardin, are not only close friends, but I have been their DJ for over 30 years. You name the party, and I was there. And this time, the party was for their daughter Annie who got married to a wonderful lady by the name of Eve.
The wedding and reception were held at the Indian Creek Nature Center. The rain kept the ceremony inside, but by the time we got to the dance portion, it was a beautiful night. The doors were propped open, there were people inside and outside, and we all had a blast. As you look at the pictures, you might think that the cake and treats look extremely delicious. Well they should, because Julie (mother of the bride) is the owner of Jules Bakery. DEEE-LISH!
We danced, and sang and had an absolute blast. To top it off, I have never heard so many people sing all the words to the Whitney Houston Song “I Will Always Love You”. As a child from the 80’s. It was awesome!
Annie & Eve – congratulations, and thank you for letting me be a part of your day!
